  • Modern man is caught in an identity crisis.

There are three stories Jesus told about lost things
  • He told of the lost sheep and the lost coin, the finding of which caused the owners great joy.
  • "The Prodigal Son" is a story of estrangement between father and child.
    - Luke 15
    - This theme communicates the truth that man is made in God's image.
"The Prodigal Son" is written from the viewpoint of God as a heavenly parent
  • Fathers know the difference between a sheep, a coin, and a man.
  • The entire universe glorifies God as it moves in perfect concert.
God created male and female beings whose response to him is voluntary
  • God does not violate human beings.
  • Instead, he waits for us to come home.
